It's been soooo long since I posted and although I have been creating I keep forgetting to take picture before giving them to the recipients - doh!
I have recently found another craft which I think is going to be another addiction - Planner Decorating.
I have been using Filofax for years but just as a usual diary - shifts for work, birthdays, holidays etc, but now I have found a couple of groups on FB and I have purchased a few planner stamps and chalk inks and also using "Too Kind" from Stampin' Up! stamps using Wisteria Wonder and Wild Wasabi Inks this is what I did.
I will be doing more of these every week so will post more pictures.

The posts this week so far have been scheduled from my makes last week as I intended to try to post more regularly on my blog.
Unfortunately I hurt my back on Friday evening and as it was getting no better I saw my Doctor yesterday who said I have a trapped nerve. This means that there will be no more projects from me until I have recovered as it's too painful to sit at my desk.
I'm currently sat in the lounge with loads of cushions working my way through Harry Potter DVD's.
Hope normal service will resume shortly (hopefully)

I made Keren's self closing box (link to Keren's Vid HERE) and I decided to see if I could resize it smaller.
This box base measures 1.5" x 1.5" and height is 4.5"- super cute!
Card size is 6.5" x 6".
Score long side at 3" & 6"
Score short side at 1.5" & 4.5"
Diagonals the same as the vid
This time I used Crushed Curry cardstock, Moonlight DSP Stack and Bow builder punch all from STAMPIN' UP! The top is shaped using EK Success border punch.

One of my fellow Pootlers (Our Stampin' Up! Team) challenged us on our FB page to make a project using one SU colour and one SU Stamp set only (although we were allowed white/ivory card also).
I made this 6 sided box using two pieces of card 6.5" x 9"and score as follows.
- Short side 2, 4, & 6"
- Long side 2, 6 & 8"
I cut the bottom small oblong off and attached together then cutting off the tops 1" rim of four of the flaps, keeping two opposite ones to make the closure as in picture. I hand cut the corners to angle them. ( a template is at the bottom of the post)
I then cut layers 6 at 1 7/8" x 3 7/8" and 6 at 1 7/8" x 1 7/8" for the top flaps. Stamped one of each in different patterns and sponged the edges.
Cut a piece of ivory card 2" x 3" and used scallop top punch to make the label. Ribbon, punched butterfly and pearls to finish.
Ivory and Calypso Coral
Tag topper punch
Corner Rounder punch
Itty butterfly punch
1/4" hand punch
Calypso Coral ribbon and pearls
All products from STAMPIN' UP!
Make two like these.
