Lil' old Me

I am a full-time working mum who works shifts with a son Richard aged 22 and a daughter Emma aged 19. I have been married to my lovely Husband Paul for 25 years. My passion in life, besides my family, is papercrafting, especially cardmaking, although I "dabble" in scrapbooking. I was introduced to Jewellery making in 2012 and found another addiction :) I have been cardmaking since 2006. I am also a bit of a tigger freak!

Crafter's Companion Inspirers Team - Daughter card

This is another project for CRAFTER'S COMPANION Inspirers Team.

This time it is a card made using the fabulous CRAFTERS INSPIRATION ISSUE 10. The papers, topper & sentiment are on the free disk from the Sugar & Spice set.  I cut the hexagons using one of the free dies and made a patchwork background.  The border is made using the free hexagon border embossing folder.  The only "extras" I used were core'dinations card and SARA'S SIGNATURE ENGLISH COUNTRY GARDEN Floral Duos die for flowers and leaves.
Spectrum Noir Clear sparkle pen is added to the flower leaves, hand drawn faux stitching around the sentiment and topper and pearls for finish.

Hunkydory shaped card blank

Sugar and Spice on CD from CRAFTERS INSPIRATION ISSUE 10

A New Home card

I decided that I hadn't sat down and coloured for sooo long so I decided to dust of my Spectrum Noir Markers from CRAFTER'S COMPANION and make a New Home card.

I made a little scene using very old Cuddly Buddly stamps and sponged the clouds and grass then added tufts using markers.  The sentiment is a new Labeler Alphabet stamp set from STAMPIN' UP!

The DSP is just one sheet of the gorgeous new papers from SARA'S SIGNATURE ENGLISH COUNTRY GARDEN.
